It's February! We are learning all about our community helpers this month. We got an early start with a great field trip to the fire station at the end of January. That was fun. Thanks to all who made it. We made the fire men a thank you card in class which I will take to the station. we get to have a guest speaker this month, and another field trip!
We also jumped past our circle/line letters to our camel hump letters. Like h, n, and m.
The kids are learning so much. We have been having a great time in class. They are excelling at their fine motor skills like scissors. And their letter sounds are coming along as well.
I hope the Baggie books are going well. Please make sure they are bringing the books to school on Mondays so we can switch them. Thank you.
Please make sure you are reviewing letters and their sounds as often as possible at home. All the practice they can get will be helpful. We are always working on them at school.
