Registration Time Again.

I will be starting registration for the next school year in January. If you know of someone that is looking for a preschool and wants to sign up, I am giving first priority to any of my current students that would like to return and to references from current students.

Open Registration will begin in February. So, please pass the word around to those who you think would enjoy our preschool so they can be sure to get a seat. Let them all know that I will be having both a 3 day and a 2 day class. But only one of each, so they have to hurry.

Details:
Our three day class will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am - 11:15am
Our two day class will be held Monday and Wednesday from 12:15pm - 2:30pm
Prices:
The three day class is $85.00 a month
The two day class is $70.00 a month
There is a $25.00 registration fee.

I love to keep small classes. I feel that this helps the children learn better and feel more secure in their surroundings. Therefore I only have 8 spots in each class. And I will only have the two classes. So if you want a spot in one of the classes, please contact me soon so I can get you a registration packet and we can reserve your child's seat.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow.

We are right in the middle of our winter break now and I hope all of my kids are enjoying the snow! We had a fun Christmas Party on our last day here, where we all got to wear our jammies and board The Polar Express. I think the kids had fun. I know I sure did. They looked great. And although I am enjoying time off, I sure miss all the kids. I can't wait to see you all on Monday. Here's a couple Pictures of us on our own Polar Express.

Wow how the time flies!

I really need to be better at updating this. Here's what we have been up to lately: We had our transportation unit, and the kids just loved it! They made dump trucks out of egg cartons, and got to climb up into a real dump truck! I think that they loved it, I sure had fun watching them squeal. They made shape buses, and they got to paint with the wheels on a matchbox car! We made boats and got to see what kinds of things float in water and what things will sink straight to the bottom. We took a bus ride in our seats to the Zoo. We finished the month out with our Thanksgiving feast. They got to tell me something that they were thankful for and then put a feather on our turkey, Tom, so he could run away for thanksgiving. Now there's no way we'll be able to catch him and eat him. November was a fun month!
I have many pictures to post and send to you all but my computer is sick. So as soon as I get it back from the guys at HP, I will send them out and post a few on the blog. That way you and your child will get to see everyone from preschool at home!

A Hunting We Will Go!

Pumpkin patch hunting that is! Wednesday October the 8th we are going to the Black Island Farms (instead of class). We are going on a hayride, and then we get to "hunt" for the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. Parents are in charge of getting their own children to and from the patch. Miss Hanah can't drive that many kids. :) But I would love to watch them all while we are playing, or parents can stay and play. Brothers and sisters can come too. It is $4.00 per child, but the parents are free. Make sure to bring the money to school before October 1st so I can pay for the trip. I can't wait to see what pumpkins you pick. I'm sure they will be fun! Bring your muddy shoes!

I wiggle my fingers, I wiggle my toes!

School started and we are having so much fun! We learned all about our bodies this month. We learned that our feet not only run and walk, but they can paint too! We had fun putting paint on our feet and painted some really good masterpieces! We also made texture books while learning about our hands. We have some pretty fun things we are going to do on Monday, but I won't spoil the fun. :) We laughed while we read the book More Parts by Ted Arnold because there is just no way our heads could fall off! We love to sing the Colored Monster Song, and can hardly sing it enough times. Looks like we all like Preschool. I knew we would!

What's New.

Enrollment is in full swing here at Butterflies and Bullfrogs. We already have a few students signed up and ready to learn. The Preschool is almost ready for viewing. Our to-do-list is getting shorter. And we are officially on a first name basis with the man who works at Kinko's. Watch for flyer's, as we have passed out a bunch this past week. We will be at Layton, Kaysville and West Point on the 4th passing out more flyer's so keep your eyes out for us.
